I have always been fascinated by old barns,silos,cottages, etc...America is slowly letting its past slip away. With more people living in cities now then ever before, the country life fades away. The evidence of pioneer life rots in the cornfields, old trucks and farm equipment are devoured by the earth, their mark on history gone with progress. I challenge you to seek out the history around us. Find the old silo, root around in an old barn, travel into the small towns looking for their past. Make up stories about who lived there, or drove that ol tractor, or who worked that run down barn. These are the first of what I hope to be many snapshots of Vanishing America!
Look at the swing! This is not a shed but a cottage of some sort.
